Task 1. Reading the text.
You, of course, are familiar with the person depicted in this photo. This is Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin (1934–1968), the first cosmonaut.
Expressively read the text about Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin aloud.
Candidates for the first detachment of cosmonauts were recruited among military fighter pilots by the decision of Sergei Pavlovich Korolev, who believed that these pilots already had experience in overloads, stressful situations and pressure drops. There were 20 young pilots who were being trained for the first flight into space. Yuri Gagarin was one of them.
When preparations began, no one could even imagine which of them would open the way to the stars. Reliable, strong and benevolent, Yuri did not envy anyone, did not consider anyone better or worse than himself. He easily took the initiative, worked hard and with pleasure.
On April 12, 1961, at 9:00 7 minutes Moscow time, the Vostok spacecraft with pilot-cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin on board was launched from the Baikonr cosmodrome. Soon the whole world saw newsreels that became history: preparation for the flight, the calm and concentrated face of Yuri Gagarin before stepping into the unknown, his famous “Let's go!”.
The courage and fearlessness of a simple Russian guy with a wide smile conquered all of humanity. Gagarin's flight duration was 108 minutes. Just 108 minutes. But it is not the number of minutes that determines the contribution to the history of space exploration. Yuri Gagarin was the first and will remain so forever!
Task 2. Retelling the text.
Retell the text you read, including in the retelling the words of S.P. Korolev, an outstanding designer and scientist, about Yu.A. Gagarin:
“He opened the way to the unknown world for the people of the Earth. But is it only? It seems that Gagarin did something more - he gave people faith in their own strengths, in their capabilities, gave them the strength to go more confidently, more courageously ... "
Think about where it is better to use the words of S.P. Queen in retelling. You can use any citation methods.
You have 2 minutes to prepare.
If necessary, you can use the Notes field.
Task 3. Monologue statement.
Choose one of the proposed conversation topics.
Topic 1. Holiday (based on photo description)
Topic 2. The hike (excursion) that I remember the most (narration based on life experience)
Topic 3. Is it always necessary to follow fashion? (argument on the question posed).
You have 1 minute to prepare.
Your statement should take no more than 3 minutes.
Task 4. Dialogue.
During the conversation, you will be asked questions on the topic of conversation you have chosen. Please give full answers to the questions asked by the interlocutor examiner.
Task 4. Topic 1. Holiday
Describe the photo.
1) What holidays do you like more and why (home, school, holidays with friends)?
2) When can we say that the holiday was a success?
3) Do you like the holiday or preparation for it more and why?
Interlocutor examiner card
Task 4. Topic 2. Hike (excursion)
Tell us about how you went on a hike (on an excursion).
1) How, in your opinion, are hiking (excursions) useful?
2) What would you recommend to your peers who are going to go on a hike (for an excursion) for the first time?
3) What, in your opinion, is the most important thing in a hike (on an excursion)?
Interlocutor examiner card
Task 4. Topic 3. Fashion
Is it always necessary to follow fashion?
1) What do you think the word "fashionable" means?
2) Do you listen to other people's advice? Whose advice is most important to you?

The USE is one of the most burning topics in Russia. At the beginning of the emergence of this form of knowledge testing, there were many disputes: to enter or not to enter? Now this form of knowledge testing no longer frightens students, but the discussions around it still do not subside. The main question of the upcoming academic year: will the oral part be introduced to the Unified State Examination in the Russian language?
As you know, the Ministry of Education annually finalizes the exam KIMs of the unified state exams. Since in the 11th grade only Russian and mathematics are mandatory for delivery, special interest arises precisely around these subjects. So, let's see the changes in the Unified State Examination in the Russian language in 2018.
The exam in the Russian language consists of two parts: a part with short answers and an essay. According to the majority of teachers, as well as university teachers, school graduates often do not know how to correctly formulate their thoughts, find it difficult to freely reason and do not know how to argue their own position. This problem revealed the weaknesses of school education. Despite the fact that several years ago they removed test tasks and introduced the December essay, which fixes the admission or non-admission of students to take the state exam, this was not enough. Therefore, it was decided to introduce an oral answer.
So, according to experts, the oral part of the exam will allow students to learn:
- Formulate thoughts in literary language.
- Develop the ability of reasoning.
- Build argumentative communication skills.
- To expand school graduates' knowledge in the field of oratory.
- Be competitive in the professional field.
Actually, this is not new. For a long time, students have mastered the oral part in the OGE in English. It allows you to identify the ability of students to understand the text, highlight the main idea and formulate competent answers.
How will the oral exam take place?
In some regions, training exams in Russian have already been passed, where students took the oral part of the computer. Schoolchildren tested new tasks and noted one important drawback: the answers of other examinees make it difficult to concentrate. Officials promised that this would be fixed in the future, and children would be able to take a spoken Russian language exam in separate classrooms. How this is implemented in practice is still unknown.
How will it be in 2018?
In the Unified State Examination in the Russian language in 2018 there will be no oral part, in contrast to where schoolchildren in many regions of Russia in 2018 will still have to talk in the exam.
All the innovations in the USE 2018 were published on the official website of FIPI. In the Unified State Examination in the Russian language, the main change in the tasks of the first part is No. 20. Now this task is aimed at testing the knowledge of the lexical norms of the Russian language. Pupils need to correlate the sentence with the mistakes that were made there. Same way maximum primary score for completing all work increased from 57 to 58.
Experienced teachers are already advising 10th grade students to prepare for the oral part of the Russian language exam, because it will probably appear in 2019. What needs to be done?
- Read texts of various styles with expression.
- Learn to formulate the main idea of the text.
- Argumentatively voice your position on the read text.
- Explain your own thoughts well.

What do officials want?
The Minister of Education does not approve of drastic changes. Perhaps this is good. After all, the Unified State Exam is still stressful for graduates. According to statistics, many students do not aspire to get into universities just because of the frightening USE procedure. At the highest level, the introduction of an additional third compulsory subject for passing in the 11th grade is being discussed. Presumably this will be history. Officials believe that if the number of mandatory items for delivery is increased, then children will consider this a “common thing” and will no longer be afraid.
Will it benefit the students? Everyone will answer this question for himself. The students can only wish good luck in the exams.
The oral part of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language has become a stumbling block in disputes between scientists and teachers throughout Russia. There were a lot of questions and debates, they argued until they were hoarse, but they agreed that the oral part of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language 2017 would be introduced and schoolchildren would have to not only write written tests in Russian, but also take the oral part, in which not only knowledge of the rules of grammar and punctuation, but also the ability of the applicant to speak beautifully, put words into meaningful sentences and the ability of a person to correctly formulate his thought and convey it to the audience.
Oral part in the Russian language of the Unified State Examination: do I have to take it?
Of course, high-quality speech and oratory is the most important component of a successful career for any person in the modern world. To be able to speak beautifully is necessary for a professional career, for rapid growth in the career and social ladder. That is why the government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education developed a new concept for the oral part of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language 2017, where students will be invited to communicate with the examination committee on one of the proposed topics. Interestingly, in order to consciously speak on any topic, you need to know the subject, that is, understand the essence of the issue and understand the topic that you have chosen as an exam.
Thus, if the oral part of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language 2017 will be on the topic “Great geographical discoveries of the 18th - 19th centuries”, this means that you should not only be able to speak well about it, but also know the material of the school curriculum in geography and be generally interested in questions relating to travel, tourism and the history of great discoveries. The fact is that beautiful oral speech implies a rich outlook, general curiosity and a high IQ. Without these components, you will not be able to speak qualitatively.
We pass the oral USE Russian as oral English
Of course, you shouldn't be scared. The oral part of the Unified State Examination in Russian will be somewhat reminiscent of an English exam, where the oral part has existed for a long time, all schoolchildren are used to it and there are no problems with the exam. To prepare for the oral part of the USE 2017, you should download Russian language textbooks in advance and make it a rule that you should prepare for the USE for 1 hour a day. If you do this systematically, it will go smoothly and you will score the required number of points. The oral part also has positive features. For example, we note the fact that you will need to write less on the exam. This positive factor will facilitate the process of passing the test and allow the guys to relax and pass the exam perfectly.
